Our carriers

We work with twelve carriers, so you don’t have to call twelve carriers.

As an independent agency we’re appointed with multiple insurers. That means we shop the same coverage across all of them and bring you the difference, instead of selling you the only product we have.

What we cover

What we can cover

Personal, commercial, or both under one agency. Most of our clients start with one policy and end up bundling.

Why independent

Why go through a broker at all?

A captive agent has one product to sell you. We hold appointments with twelve carriers, so our job is finding which one actually fits, re-checking it every renewal, and picking up the phone when a claim lands.

We work for you

Appointed with twelve carriers, so we find the fit rather than sell the only product we have.

We re-shop it yearly

Carriers raise rates quietly. Every renewal we re-run your coverage across the market.

We answer the phone

The claim is the moment the policy matters. You get your agent’s direct line from day one.

Your agent

You’ll be dealing with Marisol, not a queue.

Every Keystone client is assigned one agent who handles the quote, the policy, the renewals and the claim. No handoffs, no ticket numbers, no explaining your situation twice.

Marisol Reyes

Principal Agent & Owner

Licensed producer, [State] no. [Number]. Property, Casualty, Life & Health

Took over Keystone from her father in 2011, twelve years after starting there answering phones. Handles most of the agency’s home and commercial accounts. Has a particular impatience for policies that look cheap until you read the exclusions.

Client stories

What clients say

Priya found us $840 a year on the same coverage. She also told us the liability limits we’d had since 2009 were nowhere near enough, which was the more useful part.

I called about a burst pipe at 7am on a Sunday. Tom answered. That’s the whole review.

Dennis rebuilt our whole commercial package and found we’d been paying for coverage that overlapped in two places. Saved money and got better protection.

Questions

Questions we get asked a lot

Have a different question? Call us

Does it cost anything to get a quote from you?

No. We’re paid commission by the carrier when you buy a policy, not by you for asking. If we quote you and you stay where you are, we’re not out of pocket and neither are you.

Do you actually save people money, or is that just the pitch?

Sometimes. Roughly a quarter of the people who bring us their current policy are already on a competitive deal, and we tell them so. The rest usually save something: the median in 2025 was around $600 a year across auto and home combined. We’d rather quote that honestly than promise a number we can’t hit.

What’s the difference between a broker and an agent?

A captive agent represents one insurance company and can sell you only their products. An independent broker holds appointments with multiple carriers and shops among them. We’re the second kind, with twelve carriers currently.

How long does it take to get covered?

Auto and renters can usually be bound the same day. Home typically takes two to four days because of inspection requirements. Commercial policies vary a lot, anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the industry and the underwriting.

What do you need from me to quote?

Ideally your current declarations page, because that one document has almost everything on it. Failing that, the quote form covers the essentials. For business policies we’ll usually need to talk.
